もう1年近く前になりますが、物理系Podcast Interaxion にて、部品さん・柿田さんと一緒に 第三の磁性体「交代磁性 (altermagnet)」について話しました。私は素人ですが、少しスピン群をかじった者の立場から参戦しました。

このPodcast公開後、アメリカで学生をしている日本人の方から連絡があり、zoomで物理トークや進路相談をしました。 本日改めてメールを頂き、アメリカでPh.D. 課程に進学することが決まったそうです！ 留学生にとっては逆風となるようなニュースばかり耳にしていたので心配でしたが、良い知らせが聞けました。

Almost a year ago, I had the pleasure of joining the physics podcast Interaxion for an episode on a fascinating emerging topic: altermagnet. While I’m by no means an expert in magnetism, I joined the discussion from the perspective of someone with a bit of background in spin group and symmetry.
